The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes
While working on this elegant traveling exhibit, Brave New Pictures provided dynamic media that focuses not only on the scientific nature of early forensic practices that Sherlock Holmes employed in the 19th century, but also on the most modern and up-to-date techniques used in contemporary crime labs. Ballistics, impression evidence, bloodstain pattern analysis, cryptography, DNA testing, and toxicology are all subjects presented in edgy videos as part of the Forensics Gallery. Featuring highly accurate physical re-creations along with insights from expert scientists prepares visitors for a chance to solve a crime just as Sherlock Holmes would have. While following in the footsteps of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s literary creation throughout the United Kingdom, BNP recorded the author’s great-nephew - his first time on camera - and these recollections are used to introduce visitors to the fantastic realm of Victorian London and the world’s most famous sleuth.
Additional Information
In addition to providing exhibit media, BNP produced numerous marketing, behind-the-scenes and supplementary videos that were used to promote the exhibit and extend the visitor experience. Subjects included crime writers, a former police detective, a medical examiner and members of the Baker Street Irregulars, who are devoted to all things Sherlock.
